2011 Season is over
WAGL Season Ends in Dramatic Fashion
Winners?
You want winners? How about John Chowns charging from behind late in
the season to leap over Grumpy in the standings to claim the 2011 Division A Championship.
You want a winner? How about Larry Jones running away with the Division B championship
for the second consecutive season? Congrats to both golfers!
You will be aptly rewarded on Saturday.
Drama?
You want drama? How about Kevin coming out of nowhere on the last day of the season
to squeeze into third place in Division A? What about Roger blasting past Dennis into
second place? How about Roger putting a big scare into Larry for first place? That’s drama.
Not that you care, but Slav defeated JD in the Biggest Loser finals. Nobody really cares,
but the loser of that match, (JD) will be required to wear the Official Biggest Loser hat. It is
one ugly hat that must be worn on opening day 2012.
The Wally Award
This is a new award this year. Consider the Wally to be the MVP award.
All WAGLers have been ranked in performance in seven categories (points scored,
Par 3 Wizard, Putt Master, Birdies, Eagles, Double Eagles and Money won.
